Below are all the cats and kittens currently in the care of TLHS. Many of these pets may be lost or missing from their homes, but they are still in need of loving care.

⏳ Stray Hold Information

Cats and kittens under a five-day stray hold are not eligible for adoption, rescue transfer, or fostering until the hold period ends.

💌 Learn About Fostering

Interested in fostering? Fostering is a great way to provide temporary care for our animals. Please note: cats under a stray hold cannot be fostered until the hold ends.

📌 Please Note: Why We Do Not Place Adoption Holds

We operate on a first-come, first-served adoption basis and do not place holds on animals. Here’s why:

  • ❌ Missed Adoption Opportunities: Holds can cause animals to miss their chance at adoption if a family changes their mind. This slows down the process for pets who could have already found a home.
  • 🏥 Limited Veterinary Access: TLHS currently does not have an in-house veterinarian. This has slowed down the spay/neuter process, so we focus on adopting out animals who are already fixed and ensuring unaltered pets are spayed or neutered before going home.
  • 🐾 Prioritizing Ready-to-Adopt Pets: Many fully vetted pets are overlooked because of interest in unaltered animals based on color or breed. We want to give every ready pet the best chance at finding a family.
  • ⚡ Efficiency Saves Lives: By keeping adoptions moving quickly, we can free up space and resources to help more animals in need.

We appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure fair, efficient, and lifesaving adoptions for all pets in our care.
